I have been in college for about a month now and I am seriously starting to notice the differences between college and high school. Sorry that all my posts recently have been about school but that is literally all I have been doing but I am working on a post for this weekend I think you all will like.
5 Things I've Learned So Far In College:
1. There are cute guys everywhere
When I say everywhere I mean everywhere. If you go to an all girls school, or don't have the best looking/ not your type guys at your school just wait my friend it gets better. I've toured alot of colleges and been to various graduations so I know there are always cuter guys in college. Also they are all usually friendly and nice so put your social pants on and get to know some cuties.
2. You have to pay for everything
The only thing I miss about high school is that you didn't have to pay for much. In college you honestly have to pay for EVERYTHING from classes, to books, clubs, food, the list goes on and on. I would honestly start saving from now if you want to do and experience alot in college because it will cost. I say sacrifice now so you can have an amazing time in college.
3. There are parties all the time
I don't know how some people can manage to party everyday but they do. I don't even live at school and I get invited to parties almost everyday. My friends that are in the dorms say there are even more parties and people are drinking 24/7, so the craziness is real.
4. Wear whatever the hell you want
I don't know about all of your schools but at my high school everyone always judged what each other was wearing. I personally never cared because I dress solely for myself, but I know others that were self conscience because of constant judgement. In college you can honestly show up in underwear and I doubt anyone would even look twice at you. But also the con to this is if you dress really nice and put effort into your outfits no one cares either. You just got to get used to it I guess.
5. Nobody gives a FUCK about anything
Excuse my language but honestly that is the only word that really describes that statement. Teachers don't care if you come to class, what your wearing, and half don't even care what your name is. On the way to my last class everyday I pass the smoking spot where everyone is always smoking and the other day I even saw my history teacher smoking there. Everybody is much more laid back in college I can guarantee you that.

Hope you all enjoyed this post this is what I have noticed alot in my short time in college.

What's In My School Bag
For my purse this year I am using a Steve Madden bag that I fell absolutely in love with. It is more structured then a boho type bag so I just like the look and feel of it for everyday. I got it from Nordstrom Rack and between deals, coupons, and gift cards I only paid $1.34!!!!
Here's the back of it, on all the zippers there is fringe dangling from it, which I thought was super cute and gave it a more laid back vibe.
These are the actual contents of my bag, aside from notebooks, and folders this is everything.
- From the top I have a reading book, I love to read so whenever I get the chance during the day I do. Currently re-reading Kissing in Italian by Lauren Henderson my favorite book series.
- Next I keep a black cardigan in my bag because some buildings are freezing and others are like a sauna.
- Below that I have my pencil pouch
- To the left I always keep some type of snack with me just in case. Here we just have a Nature Valley peanut butter granola bar.
- Above that I have my wallet which I keep all my necessary ish in their.
- To the left off that I keep headphones with me and listen to music whenever I get the chance.
- Above that I have a compact mirror, mini spray, and chapstick...typical girl things to keep in a school purse.
- Last the square bag is where I keep my period pouch with my womanly needs in there. Also did a post about period necessities for school which is a must to check out for any girl.

Ulta Haul.
Hey everybody! Hope you all are having a great weekend. I needed some makeup and hair essentials so yesterday I went to Ulta. Which is probably my favorite makeup store because it has everything from drugstore to high end makeup, hair products, perfume and everything n between it's great. Plus they are always having deals and coupons so you can really get a great deal. I got a couple of things so I thought I would haul them.
First I got a new powder which is Revlon's Photoready powder in 010 Fair/Light. Honestly when buying makeup I always am the lightest shade which makes matching makeup pretty easy. I had this powder a while ago and I remember liking it, so I thought I would repurchase. Since it is a powder meant for photos and such I hope it will give me a clean flawless finish but we will see. I hope to do a review on this once I have used it for a while.

Of course I repurchased my favorite concealer ever which is Benefits boi-ing concealer this is probably my third or fourth one. I'm not going to talk about this too much because I have a whole review up about this product so go check that out.
Lastly I got two Bed Head After Parties they were only $10 each plus I had a coupon so I got two for the price of one which was awesome. I have naturally dry hair so I'm always on the hunt for good products. I love to use Bed Head after I've applied any heat to my hair or after it's dried after washing my hair. It brings life back to my dry and dead ends, plus it makes it smell REALLY good which is always a plus with hair products.

That is all for this post hope you enjoyed my haul and I will see you in my next post, bye guys!

Where I've Been??
I have been absent for a week or so haven't been posting on anything, so I just wanted to tell you all what has been going on
I started college a week ago and honestly it is already super stressful, I thought I would have more time to blog but I really don't. I really want to continue blogging but posts might come out a little slower.
College is not anything what I ever thought. I have so much work everyday that I spend hours and hours doing, I barely have any time to eat or breath.
I don't have school on Tuesdays but it isn't even a break I have to do the work for the next day and try to get ahead so I'm not swamped in the coming days.
It has been a big challenge for me to adjust and it is just really hard to be honest. I don't have to many friends yet which is knocking down my spirits a little bit. A big part of school is socializing and I feel like the people in my classes are just not sociable so it really is a challenge. But I hope once I join clubs that will change.
Also I have to wake up at 5:30 every morning to get to school so I come home super tired but still have to do hours of work. It has been a big adjustment and honestly I cried yesterday because it is all just too much to handle. I am happy to be in college don't get me wrong ( I hated high school) but it is just such a change.
Today for instance I had only one class Math from 8-8:50 I decided to go to the school gym which is super nice and I had a good time. Then I came home showered and now I'm working. I just finished doing math for an hour and a half, so now I will move on to my others classes and on and on. The gym was my only break today.
I didn't want to make this to complain but just share my feelings with you all so you can understand what is going on. I promise to make more time for blogging because I genuinely do love it and it is a great escape!
I hope you all will stay with me in these few weeks of me transitioning and getting it together.
Love you all see you next time!

Henna Experience
I am so obsessed with henna I love it because it isn't as permanent as a tattoo but it lasts long enough for you to get the feeling of one. About two weeks ago be and my best friend decided to get hennas done by a girl my friend recommended to me so I thought I would share with you guys my experience.
I decided to get this design done because I have been seeing it all over Tumblr and I really fell in love with it. This took about half and hour and after she put a lemon sugar scrub on it to make it darker. Her instructions were to keep on till late at night around 9 or 10 and then scrape it off. I have actually had henna done before and the lady said to keep it on over night which I think is better because it lasted longer that time. But if you've ever had henna done you know how hard it is to keep the paste on and not use that hand to much.
This is about two days later and as you can see after you peel of the paste it becomes a pretty brownish tan color. You can kind of tell where is darker and which parts came off before like my second finger is darker than the palm of my hand. You really cant control it, it just comes off sometimes without you noticing. Also after I got it done in the above picture me and my friend went to eat and that was the biggest struggle of my life trying to drive and eat with the paste on.
This is what my friends looks like it came out so pretty I think. I love how it looks like an intricate hand chain and just goes up one finger I loved it.
So mine lasted about a week to be honest I thought it would last longer because I have had henna done before and it usually does. So I really do recommend keeping it on overnight if you can because it really helps the color darken and last longer. Basically the darker the henna comes out the longer it will last.
I hope you all enjoyed this post I really enjoyed writing it. I will for sure be getting more hennas done in the future they are just so beautiful.

My First Day of College!
Yesterday was my first day of college and let me tell you it was one of the most overwhelming situations of my whole life.
First I commute to school because it is decently close to my house so there is the stress of traffic and finding decent parking. But I got to school at a good time and in one piece so that was nice. My first class is at 8 A.M. and I got to school around 7:20 so I just sat infront of the building where my class was and ate breakfast and read. My first class is math and that was ok I personally suck at math so I already know this class is going to be a struggle for me. But the teacher is really nice so hopefully he can help me pass this class.
Next I have a Human Communications course which is essentially public speaking. I hate speaking infront of people but it is a pretty small class and the teacher is young and super nice so it shouldn't be too painful *crosses fingers
My third class is Gender Studies which I feel like will be my favorite class because the teacher is so sassy and hilarious which is right up my alley. But I don't know if I will actually like the subject, I will for sure let you guys know.
Lastly I had history from the 16th century which was so awkward. The thing about the first day is everybody is so tense and awkward that you feel so weird, and especially in this class because everyone was so different from each other it was extra uncomfortable. But on the bright side the teacher is young and Italian with a heavy accent that I am obsessed with. I usually like History so I hope I will be successful in this class.
Towards the end of the day I just really wanted to go home because I felt kind of lonely because I don't have any friends yet. It is only the first day so obviously I am not going to make any friends but I still felt out of place. I think I just need a couple of weeks to adjust and meet some people. I also want to join a bunch of clubs and possibly a sorority so that should also help the process.
After my classes were over I went to the student shop and bought a lanyard for my keys and a school sweater and I am super pumped about both they are so cute. Then I just went home and did homework for hours.
That concludes my first day of college it really was a struggle but I know things will get better. I want to keep you guys posted through it all!!

Book Review: Looking For Alaska
Today I thought I would do a book review on Looking For Alaska by John Green. I really loved the Fault In Our Stars and I heard that Looking For Alaska was going to be made into a movie so I thought I would read it. Needless to say I did not like it nearly as much as TFIOS.
The book starts off with the narrator Miles switching schools to one where he now lives at school kind of like dorming in college but high school version. His roommate is called Colonel and they become pretty good friends. Colonels friend is Alaska she is very mysterious and beautiful and Miles falls for her but she already has a boyfriend who she claims to really love.
They drink and smoke by a lake that is near the school and there friend group consists of Alaska, Colonel, Miles "pudge", some Asian guy sorry I forgot his name, and Lara who was born and raised in Romania but now lives in the U.S.
Alaska knows Miles likes her and teases him but nothing really happens. Alaska ends up setting up Lara and Miles together and they date for a few weeks and then that ended. Basically one night Alaska gets drunk and hooks up with Miles and then runs off and hysterically runs to her car and nobody knows why. The next morning they find out Alaska died in a car accident.
Colonel and Miles who were the last ones to talk to her make it their mission to find out how/why she died.
That was a really rough synopsis because I don't remember everything but I remember when it ended I kinda was like wtf...it is a really weird book that had a lot of interesting moments but I just didn't like it overall but everybody has their own opinion so I say give it a try.
